OUR STORY

Quick Rand began with two friends who shared a desire to start a meaningful business and make a real difference in people’s lives.
One day, during a conversation, we found ourselves wondering whether South African car guards actually earn a salary. Curious, we decided to investigate for ourselves. What we discovered surprised us - not only do most car guards not receive a monthly salary, but many are required to pay a daily fee just to be allowed to stand and assist drivers.
This reality sparked an idea.
We began asking ourselves how we could help car guards earn a more reliable income in a way that is simple and convenient for both the driver and the guard. In today’s world, fewer people carry cash, which often makes it difficult for drivers to show appreciation, even when they want to.
That is where Quick Rand was born - a modern solution designed to make tipping easier, faster, and more accessible, helping car guards receive the support they deserve.
